WEmpathEYEs piloted our first session in Nanyang Polytechnic to spread awareness among youths about the visually handicapped, a neglected community in the society through experiential workshop from planting to route navigation without visual aids. The experiential workshop managed to impact youths to be more socially responsible, with 86.5% of the participant volunteered at the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped upon going through a training on how to interact appropriately with the beneficiaries.
